New lighting can really change the feel of your room. I am so excited to announce that my home is almost rid of terrible lighting fixtures. This has not been with out hard work and possible electrocution.
For the front guest bedroom I found a great shade from Anthropoligie and hardwired it to the ceiling. I love the way it turned out
The second bedroom contains a cheap fabulous fixture from Ikea.
So dont stress over ugly lighting. Get creative! I changed both fixtures for $65.
